So sorry for the delay in a post. No excuses except for all of them. Laketsream Guides and shop are a cranking away. Guides out daily near and afar. Rivers lakes, back to rivers , then back to Lakes......oh , and the Missouri . Fishing and weather have been all over the map for the last 6 weeks. 80 DEG to SNOW !!!!! What you say.. YES SNOW !!!
Fishing report as follows : Missouri River Good to great nymphing river wide. Its been primarily a Mayfly game. Short or long nymphing in this low water year. I have had great success lately with a size 14 Brown S&M trailed by a size 18 little green machine in color of Grey. Five FT from Indicator to BB Split and get after it. Some decent Dry Fly action if you go HUNT, and look hard. The ones you find you can get to eat with good...great presentation. Caddis and March Browns down low. Midges and Betis River wide.
Local Lakes Rogers for Grayling and some nice Trout. Echo for Small and Large Mouth on the Fly. The Beaver chain of Lakes North of Whitefish are a good bet as well. Whitefish Lake and River for Pike and Lakers.
Good Creek fishing North of town as well. This is a great time of year for high water small stream fishing. Grab a map , and go explore some new water
The PIKE game is on in all of those weird places.
