Its been a long Winter…Pretty sure we are not done with the cold and snow yet.
Temps crept up over 40 yesterday for the first time in a long while.
We took advantage and closed up early for a heat of the day float in the Main stem.

We got em pretty good.
The river is big. Its a long line nymph game for the most part.
The fish responded well to the PINK WORM, and some Stone fly nymph patterns.
The fish are healthy and laying up where they should be for this time of year.
Slow water inside seams.
Be careful on the water . The river is way up with a good push of water coming out of the South Fork. Water managers are prepping for big run off out of the South Fork for sure.
Pre scout all of your favorite put ins and take out spots. They are all a bit sporting this time of year. Carry an extra rope and a tow strap for easier extraction.
Get out there if you get a chance.
If you really want to crush give us a call and hire one of our starving GUIDES for a heat of the day Flathead River Guide trip. Spring special $275. We take care of everything. All you gotta do is catch some fish.
