Welcome to August! Checking in with all you folks out there that follow the blog. We hope you have been having as gangbusters of a summer as we have. Fishing locally has been holding strong as we move into terrestrial season. Fish can certainly still be caught on smaller mayfly patterns and caddis patterns, but each day forward the ant, beetles, and hoppers are going to be more of the bigger players. Fishing on some of our other localish river systems have been good as well. A day spent fishing the Clark Fork would certainly be a day well spent.

We’ve got great new bugs that have come into the shop as we move into August. Come stop by and see what we have to offer and just say hi! We may be busy, but we are never too busy to chat with y’all. You folks are what makes Lakestream the fly shop that it is.

We still have plenty of availability moving through the month of August, so please drop us a line if you are wanting to get out fishing. Think the Clark Fork sounds good? Definitely give us call!

We have been having a great summer here at Lakestream, let’s keep this ball rolling into the month by letting us take you fishing!
