SPRING FISHING REPORT mARCH 29

Welcome to Spring, and Lakestreams new website and blog.

the shop has been busy with this great spring weather pattern we have had over the last week. its really great to see all of our locals climbing out of winter and into the fishing season. thanks for all of the great local biz this last week. our local anglers are what keep this great year round shop open and successful.

guides out all last week on our home waters of the Flathead river as well as the lower clark fork , and the missouri river.

fishing has been good to great.

winter nymphing in the flathead has been our go to . pink worms, g bugs , and size 14 pink collard frenchies hve been getting eaten.

some decent dry fly action on smaller may fly patterns as well as the skwalla or nemora stonefly stuff.

The clark fork gave up some great dry fly fishing last week as well. she is blown out now so it might be a bit before we are back down that way.

crushing on the missouri with winter nymphs and sow bugs. excellent pre spawn nymphing action.
